Will I have to go to court for a speeding ticket in Florida?

You do not have to go to court for a speeding ticket in Florida. If you decide in the first 30 days after getting the ticket to pay it, you’re going to pay the ticket and it’s done. However, if you choose to fight the ticket or choose to have an attorney fight that ticket for you, then you may still have to go to court. Many times I’ll have clients that have retained me and I go to court in their place. They never have to step foot in the court. It’s always a possibility that you do though.
